Please note the following criteria for volunteering:

a commitment to attend tutoring each week during the school year (substitutes are welcome to apply),
a minimum age of a high-school junior with a solid academic record,
the ability to pass a background check (required by Seattle Public Schools),

Our goal is to assemble a team of tutors that comprehensively reflects the diverse communities we serve. We recognize that tutors who share cultural backgrounds and lived experiences with their students can inspire, foster and motivate positive and lifelong change.
