Once you’re registered you can begin bidding. Each item has a stated value, a starting bid amount, and the bid increment. When you’re ready to bid

Go to “My account” in the upper-right corner click to customize how your name appear to other bidders.

Click on the edit link to edit your display name.

Your display name is how your name appears to others.

Each item listing includes a list of bidders.

2: Customize notifications

The auction site will automatically send you email notifications to:

  • confirm you placed a bid

  • let you know you’ve been outbid

You can turn these notifications off by unchecking these boxes.

You may want to consider turning off these email notifications (they can quickly become inundating). If you turn off notifications in mind you won’t see if you’re outbid.
