Welcome Sheila Robles, program manager

Please join us in welcoming Sheila Robles (she/they), Invest in Youth’s new program manager! Pronounced Shay-la, Sheila is a native Spanish speaker who comes to us from immigration and family law, where she advocated for BIPOC+ survivors of crime after earlier legal work in employment, civil and veteran law. Her path began in English education, student-teaching ESL students in Southern California, and she’s also coached K–12 and college athletes in ultimate Frisbee — building teamwork and confidence along the way.

“As someone who knows it takes a village, I’m excited to help Invest in Youth thrive — supporting our teachers, tutors and students, and helping our community grow.” — Sheila
